After today’s visit with the OB-GYN, we have now confirmed that all three babies are boys. Manish says we are in sooooo much trouble! The doctor said that everything looks great, and we wanted to share some new pictures with everyone. The two identicals (Babies A&B) now weigh approx. 11 oz., and the third baby (Baby C) weighs approx. 9 oz. We will go back to the MFM (maternofetal medicine) specialists later this week.

Many of you have asked about names, nursery, etc.; we are still working on all of that, but are definitely further along than we were before 😉 so we have updated the site accordingly, as you will see from the links on the right. We look forward to hearing your comments!

We wanted to share the good news that we are expecting triplets (totally spontaneous)! Two are definitely boys, and the third is probably a boy, although they are not yet completely certain. They will arrive in late September/early October, but will likely have to be in the NICU for a couple of weeks afterwards.

We had an appointment with the maternofetal medicine specialists yesterday, and the doctors were very pleased by their progress so far and say that everything looks good. Please keep us in your prayers.

The Challenge: This is one of the most difficult things to decide on. Now that we know it is 3 boys, we have to scrap all the nice names we had for girls. A friend made the following suggestions:

OK, I suggest you do this:
Pick names that are somehow related to each other. For example:
a. The Three Musketeers: Athos, Porthos, and Aramis
b. Apollo 13: James, John, and Fred
c. If the third kid happens to be a girl you may want to try the “Golden Trio” from Harry Potter – Harry, Ron, and Hermione. (Then your kids sue you later on because of this), and Ian

(2) Pick names that sound alike and that combines well with your last name, with some ethnic touch:
a. Indian names: Mitali, Mitul, and Mohin
b. American: Ryan, Bryan

The Proposal: Names we have come up with so far:
Aiden: means “little fire”
Ethan: means “strong, firm, impetuous”
Gabriel: means “God is my might”
Saige: means “wise”
